The carp catching ability of fishmeal baits is unquestionable, and the Seafood Take-Away takes this one step further. We’ve combined the finest Scottish salmon meal with crustacean and pre-digested fish meals, seafood extracts, concentrates, flavours, enhancers and appetite stimulators and then added whole, micro halibut pellets for extra nutrition and ‘crunch factor’ and the result is something very special indeed.

The Seafood Take-Away is absolutely fully loaded and is the most complex and complete bait we’ve ever formulated.

Four Carp In Four Hours

[RMST4] - Seafood Take-Away 14mm Frozen boilies accounted for this upper twenty and three other carp in just four hours of fishing for this southwest angler, known to his friends as Jinxy, as he targeted a local syndicate water. A light scattering of boilies with a matching hook bait fished over top was the productive method.

Red Letter Day

Ian Merriott landed six carp, four twenties and two upper doubles, in 24 hours from Yateley Sandhurst Lake on his first session with Seafood Take-Away boilies. Ian fished 14mm bottom baits over a large bed of matching freebies to a silt gully at 70 yards.

Awesome Common

Solar Team member Geert Ooms banked a total of nine carp in just 12 hours, topped by this incredible 37lb common, using Seafood Take-Away on his target water. This being one of Geert's first trips with the Seafood baits, he was stunned at just how effetive they really are.

60lb+ Mirror

Take a look at this awesome, 62lb 5oz mirror, the biggest fish in Geert Ooms' target water and the one he really wanted to catch. Fishing over a bed of Seafood Take-Away boilies, having recently started using them, Geert promptly landed his target fish after freeing it from a snag it buried itself in half-way back to the bank.

70lb 10oz common

This 70lb 10oz common known as Bizon hadn't been caught for a little over a year prior to this capture by Alijn Danau. Fishing just 10 meters out from a swim on the end of a new wind Alijn landed this awesome fish on [SST81] - Seafood Take-Away 18mm Shelf-Life

25 Carp From A New Water

Alfons Schambeck has landed 25 carp from his new water using [RMST8] - Seafood Take-Away 18mm Frozen soaked in [M17] - Marine 17  liquid. The biggest of the haul went 36lb, with a number of other thirties and upper twenties gracing Alfons's net as well.

My Biggest-Ever Carp

Carl Sharp landed his biggest-ever carp on his very first session using Seafood Take-Away boilies in the shape of The Creature from Laroussi, France, at 57lb 8oz. Carl presented a bottom bait over half a kilo of freebies and a few balls of [UDS1] - Squid & Octopus Up & Down Mix .

7 Thirties In 7 Days

Since switching to using Seafood Take-Away a month ago, Mark Stubbles has caught at least one 30lb+ carp on every session. Targeting the pressured Essex Manor syndicate, Mark has landed seven different thirties to 35lb 8oz during his weekend sessions throughout June. Incredibly, he even managed to bank three thirties in less than five hours on one weekend trip.

Thames Stunner

Ben Hinton landed this stunning carp from the River Thames using [RMST8] - Seafood Take-Away 18mm Frozen soaked in [M17] - Marine 17. Ben fished an overnight session in an area he'd been prebaiting with Seafood Take-Away boilies for a number of days leading upto the session.

King Of The Pond!

Ian Merriott landed the sought-after Single Scale from the poplar rockford Lake at 47lb 10oz, down in weight a little after spawning. Ian used an [DPOP11] - Dairy Cream Pop-Ups over a bed of [RMST8] - Seafood Take-Away 18mm Frozen, soaked in [M17] - Marine 17 at 160 yards range alongside a weedbed.

50lb Common

Following the capture of 7 different 50lb+ carp by Solar Tackle field testers in April, field tester Soren Poulson has just sent over details of another fifty!

Spending a week on an old, Italian gravel pit, the Danish angler landed more than a dozen carp, with the three biggest going 40lb, 43lb and an impressive 50lb common.

Soren fished over a big bed of 14mm anf 18mm Seafood Take-away boilies which he had soaked in Marine 17 liquid, presenting a single, 18mm Pink & White 'test bait' hook bait over the top coupled with a small PVA bag of Up & Down Mix.

15 Carp To 52lb 6oz

Tom De Clerck has enjoyed an incredible start to his 2016 season landing 15 carp to 52lb 6oz on his very first session of the year.

Tackling a big, weedy, public water the 37-year-old Belgian angler used Seafood Take-Away and Club Mix boilies and put in that ‘extra mile’ to enjoy a true red-letter session.

Tom explains: “I've been using Solar baits for almost two decades and they have never let me down, and they have continued their form for me this season.

“I kicked off my 2016 season with my first session on a big, weedy, public pit in France. With the low water temperatures, only 7-8°C, the fish were not particularly active yet.

“I chose a swim that offered a range of depths, but also an area that was less pressured because it’s not very easy to get your gear to. Once in the swim I baited an area for each rod, each at a different depth in clearings in the weed. Each spot was baited with chopped Seafood Take-Away and Club Mix boilies, with a matching hook bait presented over the top.

“As absolute proof that often that extra effort is well worth it, I had my first fish in the net just 2 hours after getting the rods out!

“In heavy rain and blustery winds, it made it difficult to land the fish from the boat, which was necessary due to the weed. Particularly so because I was fishing alone and so has no help. Still, I managed it and was duly rewarded.

“Over the course of just a few days I had 15 takes and landed 15, beautifully scaled carp, all landed amid the thick weed on a size 8 Stronghold 101 hook.

“The biggest of the session were mirrors of 31lb and 33lb 6oz and a fat linear of 52lb 6oz. I was so happy with the results and a great start to my 2016, my only regret for the session was that I only took 10kg of each bait!”

50lb Common And A Target Linear

Solar Tackle team member Ignace de Roeck has landed one of his target fish for the season. Incredibly, he landed a 50lb+ common a few hours before his target linear, and all on an overnighter on a low-stocked, shallow, weedy water.

Both carp fell to a Seafood Take-Away pop-up soaked in Marine 17 liquid presented on a chod rig over a little area that Ignace had been lightly prebaiting between sessions.

“It was one of the first warm days of April when I had planned my third night of the season,” says Ignace. “This particular target water is very shallow and completely overgrown with weed and fallen trees. That doesn’t make it an easy venue, particularly when there are only 40 fish in the lake.

“Added to this, at least a third of the water is unfishable, which means the carp have a huge ‘safe zone’ were they love to hang out and you simply can’t get to them. So, to get a chance on this water the carp need to move around.

“To cut a long story short, that night I caught two beautiful fish, one of which was one of my main targets from the venue. The first fish was a common (which I also caught last year), but this time it tipped the scales at 50lb 12oz. The second carp, although smaller, was a bit more special for me because it was one of the main targets I set myself for this season. It’s a linear, and weighed 39lb 4oz.

“Because the water is very shallow the fights are pretty mental as you can imagine. It’s pure mayhem, but what excitement! In these situations you have to trust your set-up 100% and I’d opted for my favourite chod rig with a size 6 Stronghold 101 hook set up on a Solar Contour Unleaded leader, which performed faultlessly as always.

“Both carp fell to a Seafood Take-Away pop-up soaked with Marine 17 liquid and were caught from a little area that I’d been lightly prebaiting with Seafood Take-Away boilies between sessions.

“I can’t wait to go back to the lake and try my luck again!”

Success On A 40-Hectare Venue

Field tester Benjamin De Carolis has triumphed on a 40-hectare public lake. Using a mixture of Seafood Take-Away boilies and The Secret pop-ups, the French-based angler fished snowman hook baits over a bed of Seafood freebies.
During his 24-hour session, Benjamin landed two lovely, 20lb+ commons, kicking his campaign on that particular venue off in style.
Weekend Warrior

On a weekend session on a public lake in Germany, Solar Tackle field tester Elmar Axt, enjoyed his best ever session on the tricky venue, landing 5 carp between 23lb and 33lb 8oz in just 48 hours.
Targeting an area 7-meters deep Elmar fished over a bed of 14mm and 18mm Seafood Take-Away boilies using a Sefood Take-Away snowman set up presented on a Stronghold Longshank hook.
Giving the bait a light coating of Marine 17 liquid, Elmar then gave them a light dusting of Up & Down Mix to make the 'fizz' once in the water, giving his baits an extra edge.
Over the course of the session Elmar slipped 5 carp into his net, a 25lb 6oz common and mirrors of 26lb, 23lb 13oz, 31lb 8oz and the biggest of the session at 33lb 8oz.
10 Carp over 26lb in 48 Hours

On a 48-hour session, field tester Gunther de Vos has landed 10 carp from 26lb 10oz to 36lb 8oz.
Targeting a local water close to his Belgian home, which is an old river arm that has been sectioned off from the main river, Gunther presented a Seafood Take-Away hook bait over a bed of 14mm and 18mm Seafood Take-Away freebies, all soaked in Hot Scottish Salmon Oil.
New PB For Richard

This 44lb 8oz mirror is a new PB mirror for field Richard Basey-Fisher.

The chunky mirror topped a 23-fish catch (plus a few catfish) landed during a week-long trip to France, with commons of 34lb 8oz and 32lb 3oz 'backing up' the big mirror.
"The venue is a real boilie water, so it gave me a good opportunity to try out the new TunaMino baits," explains Richard. "I presented a TunaMino bottom bait over a spread of matching freebies and Seafood Take-Away boilies to take all of my fish."

Two Forties In A Single Day!

Pre-baiting an area on a local gravel pit, Thomas Mascha dropped in to fish the spot on a day-only session at the weekend.
A mixture of Seafood Take-Away boilies, tiger nuts and pellets all soaked in Marine 17 liquid were used to prime the area in the days leading up to the trip.
Presenting two, Seafood Take-Away snowman hook baits coupled with 101 hooks over the area Thomas landed not one, but two forties in a single day. The first, a mirror of 42lb 4oz was followed just a couple of hours later with a second mirror of 41lb 2oz.
That's a hell of a day trip in anyone's book!
3 Forties & 3 Thirties Landed In A Single Day

After pre-baiting an area on a local pit for a few days leading up to his session, team member Thomas Mascha has enjoyed an incredible day trip anding three forties and three thirties!
Fishing over a scattering of Seafodd Take-Away boilies soaked in hot Scottish Salmon Oil and Marine 17 liquid (the same baits that were used for probating), Thomas landed an incredible run of big fish, all in a single day.
His Seafood Take-Away hook bait was coupled with a small PVA bag of Squid & Octopus Up & Down Mix and the result was carp of
47lb, 41lb, 40lb 12oz, 36lb, 35lb 14oz and 34lb.
This just might be the best haul of big carp on a day-only session that we've ever heard of.
What a way to finish your autumn campaign

Solar Tackle field tester Henk Kostense landed his target fish, this impressive 43lb 4oz mirror, from his Dutch target water.
24mm Seafood Take-Away boilies soaked in TunaMino liquid were the winning tactic, with a matching hook bait fished over a bed of freebies.
Go With The Flow

A spontaneous night session on a stretch of local river has seen Elmar Axt land this 44lb 5oz mirror.
Baiting an area near a weed bed with 1kg of 18mm Seafood Take-Away Boilies soaked in Marine 17 liquid, Elmar presented two snowman rigs over the top.
At 5am one of his rods hooped over as a big fish tore off down river. After a hectic fight, where the fish buried itself in thick weed on a couple of occasions, Elmar finally slipped the net under this impressive mirror.
Packing up after the fish was returned, Elmar headed to a local still water and his luck continued in style.
Five To Mid 30lb In 48 Hours

Setting out on a 48-hour session on his target water, fieldtester Elmar Axt baited 3 spots with a mixture of 14mm and 18mm Seaffod Take-Away baits soaked in Marine 17 liquid.
Targeting an area behind a gravel bar, Elmar placed a rod at 6m, 4m and 1.5m behind the bar, each in different depths as the gravel bar slopped away into deeper water.
Each of the three rods were armed with a blowback rig with a size 6 Stronghold Longshank hook and a snowman hook bait with a Seafood Take-Away bottom bait and Squid & Octopus pop-up.
A small PVA stick of Squid & Octopus Up & Down Mix completed the set up and was cast to each of the 3 spots. The rods had been in the water just 2 hours when the one placed 6m from the gravel bar rattled off. A nice, chunky mid 20lb mirror was the culprit, which was a great start. That night 10 bream and two more twenties grace the net, and over the following 24 hours, topping up the spots after each take, a long, 30lb mirror couldn’t resist the hook bait, followed by a hard-fighting, slate-grey mirror on the final night.
Five carp, including 2 thirties, made for a great session.
